As I started slowly today to clean up the kitchen, and things out of the refrigerator…I had to laugh!
I looked in this piece of tin foil and thought what in the world was that? I studied it , dark brown all most black grainy, (No I was not about to sniff it) then I thought about the wonderful time we had here Wednesday night cooking and sitting down to a meal with good friends…It was the left over roast!
I found two nice seedless water melons in the refrigerator in the shop (uncut) took care of one of them quickly! Supper!
A container held humus, another Pat Justus’ good salad, one my Aunt Peggy’s baked beans. (mind you there were only a spoon full left of each!)
The bread was on the counter and I threw it to the dogs.Froze the other unopened bag of bread.
Found a folded unused table cloth Timber had so thoughtfully brought into the yard! 🙂
Another piece of tinfoil held 2 biscuits. Really! I saved that?
I thought about all the laughter, fun, good times, talks, good food, fellowship that was shared by old friends and new friends all because of our dogs. English Shepherds! How we are like a big family. How the English Shepherd has brought us together from all walks of life.
Yes, I am smiling and feeling good and looking forward to next year!
