NC ES Gathering

Maple Grove Farm historically hosted the annual North Carolina ES Gathering in October each year.  In the beginning  we held a one-day event and over the years, grew to hosting  activities over 3 days, with the Gathering always on Saturday.  Friday was usually for herding clinics and Sunday was generally reserved for ABHA trials, etc.

Quite a few campers with RVs and tents joined us for the weekend and folks dropped in each day from all over…some near, some far…from all over the US and even another country.  We have a wide variety of people and some of the best dogs around.  It always amazes me how all these dogs can get along so well.

Herding, campfires, meals (Les’ famous grilled chicken!), auction, trials, clinics…and most of all good company!  Always a great time with other ES-loving folks.

NC ENGLISH SHEPHERD GATHERING:  Sat, Oct. 8, 2011 The North Carolina English Shepherd Gathering was held here at Maple Grove Farm and we had lots of fun!
