Here at Maple Grove Farm we raise Katahdin and Katahdin x Tunis cross sheep. Our sheep graze the fields daily. They are also used for various herding clinics and stock dog training. Most evenings at our farm start with a quiet walk across the dam to go to the far field and gather the sheep. At my side is a good dog – smart, strong, eager to do whatever the work calls for. The quiet ringing of the sheep bells in the distance gives me an idea where the sheep can be found. We bring up the sheep to the nighttime pasture and call it a day.
