I have been so busy with the current litter that I have not had time to tell about the Amarillo/Drover litter that is on its way. Amarillo is due the 10th of March or there about. She is really starting to show her pregnancy. She is slowing down and and has a very expecting look about her!
She is into week SEVEN! Day 45 my best estimate. She is very clingy to me. Sleeps inside when it is cold outside.
In a couple of days I will prepair her whelping room like I did for Abilene. I have started by cleaning everything out of it. And I am airing it out. I will have to go to the Good Will Store for blankets and such for her bedding. At least it is not as likely to be so cold at night for her and the puppies!
Some folk say why winter litters? You know I like them ! What better way to make winter fly by than with a bunch of puppies to love and look after.?
