I slept in the whelping room again last night. The reason is I have a baby monitor in there and in my house. I wanted to spend time with them so I would know what they were doing by the sounds they make. Plus I wanted to be able to let Amarillo go potty if she needed to.
I am listening now and the sounds are soft like baby sounds. Les keeps saying “they sound like babies!” And they do! As they nurse they make these sounds and if you did not know you might think I had a baby in that room. As Amarillo cleans them they complain loudly! One of the Tri colored males is most vocal! He fusses!”NO NO I don’t want a bath!”
They are so sweet and pretty and smell so good. But I am in love with their ‘Special Puppy Talk Sounds” .. If you watch Amarillo you would know that it is indeed a language she understands! PUPPY SOUNDS! Maybe tomorrow we will record them for you and put them up here! Would you all like to hear the puppies?
