The ram “Wooly Boy” was introduced to the girls and they all seem happy to have him join their group. He is quite interested in them but they are not receptive to him yet. He has a nice kind eye and is good sized and has good bone and muscle. (plus all his teeth!) a very important thing! In my match making several years back I was setting up a friend who wanted to date a plumber. She was asking questions about his looks, made no sense to me she needed a plumber! He was single as was she…What else could she want? Anyway she asked Les what he looked like (I had tried but past being nice and a plumber I had not paid attention) turns out he was missing most of his teeth…Needless to say my friend went without a plumber!
But latter I did introduce her to a man that she married…not a plumber!
So I need to announce that Drover bred Abilene so we should have Abilene Drover Puppies by the end of December!!!
The horses are doing fine and loving the fresh grass!
The ducks follow me and flock to me now and tonight they were pecking my pants legs ! Now this is unpleasant! Will need Drover to keep them off me while I feed them! He will like that !
I realize I have not posted about the AHBA Trial I will get around to it .
I will be announcing in a few days our Schedule for next year with clinics, AHBA Herding Trials and the NC Gathering as well as Cow Camp!!!!
