Tonight it is cold…Down in the 20’s…
As I write this I am sitting by a warm roaring fire in the fireplace. I love wood heat.
All the dogs have crates with new dog beds and blankets on the carport and are fixed for the cold weather.
Abilene for the last five days has been spending the night in the mud room. 
I like to keep my girls in with me at night for at least a week before whelping so I can know what is normal for them…
The difference I see besides the size of Abby’s tummy is she wants to go back in with me. 
No nesting behavior but she is a bit restless….She is due the 17th. (Sunday) …I counted 63 days from the one breeding we did with Drover.

I expect tri colored puppies and black and tans. They should be good all round English Shepherds.
Abilene is a good all round confident dog, excellent Mother, friendly, happy, helpful, good dog. She is a great trail ridding companion, and a good friend. She goes anywhere and is all ways right with me loves people and children. She is a great coon dog and squirrel dog and I hunt with her.
Drover is my go to working dog that is a good farm dog and herder. Friendly, confident, go any where do whatever is needed, a very pleasing dog. He is biddable,happy, loves people and children.
I expect the puppies to be like the parents. Good all round nice even tempered’
Drover and Abilene are MDR 1 NN and Drover is hips OFA Good and Elbows Excellent…. Abilene has not been hip tested.
