I hope I do not regret this! But I have left the sheep in the yard for the night. They have the option to go back in the field but the green grass is in my yard!
It is cold but no falling weather…I did loose 2 lambs yesterday to the cold wet rain and wind. But the lamb Abilene mothered seems fine!
All the dogs are out and loose (and I am not worried about my dogs) hopefully nothing wild…will come about and trouble my sheep. AND hopefully the sheep will not decide to go to the top of the mountain…I kinda think they do not remember the way from this direction…and it is dark…
They are eating quietly and napping as is their usual way…for this time of night…Will see what the morning brings!
Happy sheep eating grass! With good Shepherd dogs keeping watch for vermin….
