I find herding sheep fascinating…For so many reasons…
In the Bible Jesus says “His sheep know His voice”
I can tell you what I know of sheep not only do they know my voice (and that comes first to them) But they know ME! and what I look like.
After working with the same sheep for about two weeks they start to know my voice and at the end of the 3 rd week they know my face!
I look at the sheep and find them studying my face with their beautiful amber colored eyes. Chewing their cud as the they do so… and seem quite happy…and quiet…A trust of unbelievable depth and understanding has started to develop.
I take them to water , to hay, and am all ways fair… They know this and are comfortable with me. And my dog…
