NO NOT A DODGE!
Drover and I are heading to the Virginia Mountains in the early morning hours to pick up and borrow a Katahdin Ram…The ram has business at Maple Grove Farm with some frisky Ewes!
He will be on loan for 2 months or until the job is completed!
Drover and I are going to a place called 7 Mile Ford just off I-81…An interesting place in the mountains of Virginia. An area filled with history from the days of the Indians, George Washington, the Civil War (Saltville is just over the mountain) Indian Forts…Steam trains…A beautiful area!
Course all of this history is lost to the Ewes and the Ram:-)
We should have lambs in November!
