Rain at the Farm…a simple country treasure

Sigh…Finally we are getting some rain, it was about to be serious. The grass we rely on was starting to dry up. The pond has dropped at least a foot! That is unusual, it is spring fed that means the water in the ground is getting lower..

Tonight I took a short gator ride to check the sheep…As I started down the driveway the moon was cloaked in heavy clouds and high fog…Beautiful. The frogs and crickets were singing their nightly chorus.

The clean smell of fresh fallen rain was a delight. The coolness and light breeze refreshing especially after all the heat and humidity!

Peace and quiet, not even an airplane broke the silence of the country night time.

My dogs are happy and on the carport sleeping peacefully.

All is well…

The sheep are quietly chewing cud and or sleeping. It is a glorious evening! I am happy to be alive and well .

Thank you Lord!
