Last week, BOO needed a break from nursing puppies. Drover was occupied and Abilene and Amarillo were in lock up due to being in heat. Montanna is a bit pushy for field work still and Timber while willing is not ready for it!
So I took BOO with me to gather the sheep and put them up for the night in their pens.
We walked down the driveway and she followed me till I noticed the sheep were starting to notice her presence. I put BOO in a sit stay and walked on down to the front of my flock. BOO stayed where she was told until I released her to work. She balanced nicely to me on the sheep . Not too close and we penned the sheep easy as could be!
The only thing I have taught BOO is to stay.
