The Cabin by the Pond…at Maple Grove Farm

Maple Grove Farm is a working sheep farm.

We raise Katahdin hair sheep and Churrio Navaho sheep.

Our sheep and currently one horse Tuff free range graze our farm. We are located in a small community called Jackson Creek. The Uwharriee Mountains surround us. We also have English Shepherd dogs and they are our farm help. Pretty good with everything but driving fence post!

Les and I have decide to share with you all our home and our farm.

Starting In December we will offer our 3 bedroom one bath fully furnished cabin for rent daily or weekly. If you want a quiet place to get away and enjoy the country and the mountains this is it! We have walking/ hiking available. Also I will be posting the local attractions. There are many. Seagrove and local Pottery, the NC Zoo, The Denton Farm Park, High Point Furniture Market, Local lakes Badin and High Rock, Fishing in our pond (no license needed) hunting in the Uwharrie National Forest as well as Horse back riding ,The Lexington Barbecue Festival, Asheboro Fall Festival, The Tour De Kale, to name a few local happening..
