Well folks, it could be any day now. The signs are all there! Puppies kicking , Abilene looks very uncomfortable, she has become just today clingy to me, she is not nesting yet, but from now on will not be left alone and will spend the night inside the house (it is too cold for me to stay out with her like I would if it were warmer.
I still have a few things to move to the whelping room but all is clean and ready.
This is so exciting for me!! I can never hardly wait to see what she has but this time Drover our new male is the sire and we may have tri colored puppies.
Did I mention she was clingy I just let her back in the house. It may be closer than I think. I will keep a close watch on her! She usually goes into nesting about 12 hours before delivery. She is just very uncomfortable for now.
